Manhattan YYYYYYAAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!!!

The classiest of drinks, nothing is prettier or tastier than a classic Manhattan straight up. This article provides you with two recipes because it can be made with bourbon whiskey or rye whiskey, depending on what you have available, what you prefer, or perhaps you'd like to try both!

Ingredients

Rye whiskey version: This recipe serves one – double it to include your friend!
  • 50ml / 1 2⁄3 fl oz rye whiskey (ex. Catoctin Creek Organic Roundstone Rye)
  • 25ml 7⁄8 fl oz sweet vermouth
  • 1 to 2 drops of Angostura bitters
  • 1 lemon
  • Some maraschino cherries
  • Some ice
Bourbon whiskey version: This recipe is for two, since no one should drink alone!
  • Bourbon - Choose a high quality bourbon such as Maker's Mark. Alternatively, you can use American whiskey (Jack Daniels or Jim Beam) or Canadian whiskey (Wisers, Crown Royal or Canadian Club).
  • Sweet dark vermouth
  • Grenadine or maraschino cherry juice
  • Maraschino cherries
  • Angostura bitters
  • Some ice

    Rye whiskey version:

1.Chill the glass. The cocktail should be cold but not on ice. Put some ice in the cocktail glass to cool it.
2.Pour the rye whiskey in to the mixing glass. Add the sweet vermouth
3.Add 1 or 2 drops of bitters to the mixing glass. (You can also add some orange peel in to the mix for a little extra zest.)
4.Fill the mixing glass with ice.
5.Stir the contents thoroughly, until condensation appears on the side of the mixing glass.
6..Pour. Dump the ice out of the martini glass, put a cocktail strainer over the mixing glass, and pour.
7.Garnish. To garnish, run a lemon twist around the lip of the glass and drop it in, then add a couple of maraschino cherries on a cocktail stick.
The Manhattan is now ready to serve.!

    Bourbon whiskey version:

1.Chill the glasses by placing them in the freezer or by filling them with ice.

    2.Fill the shaker with ice.

    3.Add three shots of bourbon.

4.Add 1-1.5 shots of sweet vermouth.

5.Add a splash of grenadine or maraschino cherry juice.

    6.Shake well.

7.Pour the drinks into the glasses. Enjoy!

Piña Colada

The Piña Colada is a favorite frozen drink with pineapple and coconut that saw an increase in popularity after the release of Rupert Holmes' 1979 hit and now karaoke favorite, "Escape (The Piña Colada Song)." It was created in 1954 by Ramon "Monchito" Marrero Perez at the Beachcomber Bar in the Caribe Hilton of San Juan, Puerto Rico with the intent of capturing the tropics in a glass.
You may also try the shaken Piña Colada, brandy based Kappa Colada or mocktail Coco Colada.

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz white rum
  • 6 oz pineapple juice
  • 1 1/2 oz Coco Lopez Coconut Cream
  • 1 oz heavy cream
  • maraschino cherry for garnish
  • pineapple wedge for garnish

Preparation:

  1. Blend all ingredients with approximately 2 cups of ice.
  2. Strain into a hurricane glass.
  3. Garnish with the cherry and pineapple wedge.
In total there are many ways to serve pina colada, each has its own unique way, here's another:

    Enjoy!

Lime Margarita

Margarita is unrivaled when it comes to drinks based on Tequila. Recognizable, just as the Mexican national drink, is regarded as number one among those who like a bit of tarnish his fire. Margarita is in Spanish, "daisy", but probably drink takes its name from the name of a woman for whom created this iconic drink - Margarita drink.
Ingredients:
1 ½ cup tequila
  ½ cup Cointreau (Triple Sec)
a bit of lime juicecoarse / table salt
shaker on ice
chilled cocktail glass

1.Put ice in a shaker.
2. Measure one part tequila and pour into the shaker.
3.Add one part triple sec, which is an orange-flavored liqueur made from the dried peel of oranges from the Caribbean.
4.Add one part fresh lime juice.
5.Shake vigorously.
6.Take a slice of lime and run it around the rim of the glass. Make sure to get the outer edge of the glass - that is where you want the salt to stick.
7.Pour some coarse salt onto a plate, flip the glass with the wet lime juice rim upside down, and swirl it in the salt on the plate. Fill the glasses with some ice and strain the drink from the shaker and into the glass. Alternatively, you can use sugar instead of salt to rim the glass.
8. Garnish with a lime  and enjoy!
